[Hana and Bada]6、I’M SICK,MOM!

At times I get a fever and a sore throat. However, after a good night’s sleep I feel much better.
Mom: “Are you feeling O.K?”
Hana: “I feel sick, Mom.”
Mom: “Oh, no. you have a fever. Let me check your temperature. You do have a fever. It’s 37.8°C. I will get you some medicine.”
Mom: “Here you go. Take one pill at a time.”
Hana: “Can I lie down?”
Mom: “Sure. You’d better go to bed early.”
Hana: “But Mom, I didn’t brush my teeth yet.”
Mom: “Well then! Get up and go brush them now. Don’t forget to gargle.”
Hana: “O.K.”
We should never go to bed without brushing our teeth. No matter how sick or tired we may be, we should always brush them.

My brother Bada is not as healthy as he seems. He often catches cold. Perhaps he plays outside too long.

Mom: “Here is a tissue. Blow your nose.”
Bada: “Oh, no. Mom!”
Mom: “What’s wrong?”
Bada”My nose is bleeding!”
Mom: “Come over here and let me see. Now, keep your head down.”
Bada: “Would it stop?”
Mom: “It will stop soon. Don’t worry. Here, drink this milk.”
Bada: “Mom, it’s too hot.”
Mom: “No, it’s just warm. Drink it all. How do you feel?”
Bada: “Ahh I feel much better.”
Mom: “Go to the bathro.om and take a shower now.”
Bada: “Yes, ma’am!!”
He doesn’t look sick to me. I am sure he was picking his nose. That’s why it was
bleeding.

Hana: “Hmm, I forgot. I’ll find out tomorrow.”
I am not good with names.
But I did remember my partner Susan’s name.

We made a bet to see whether or not it would rain.

Hana：Bada, put yur pajamas away and make your bed, too.
Bada：Why do I always have to make my bed?
Hana：You know we need to keep our rooms neat.
Bada：You are not my mother, and this is my room. I can do whatever I want.

So the day began, with my busy morning.

Mom: “No, come and eat right now. Your sister is waiting.”
Bada:”can I play after lunch then?”
Mom: “Sure you can.”
